How Axczel Research Pvt Ltd collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Axczel Research Pvt Ltd (SEBI Research Analyst Reg. No. INH000027681) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information. It applies to our websites (axczelresearch.com and axczel.com) and to our mobile applications for Android and iOS (together, the “Services”).

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you register, complete onboarding, subscribe to research plans, or contact us:

  • Identity & KYC data: name, email address, phone number, and postal address (from your KYC records, used on your tax invoices).
  • Regulatory identifiers: PAN, and Aadhaar-based verification carried out through the Aadhaar eSign process for signing your advisory agreement. We store only a masked reference (such as the last four digits) of your Aadhaar — never your full Aadhaar number.
  • Payment information: processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank-account details on our servers.
  • Profile data: risk-profiling responses and subscription details.

When you use our mobile apps or websites we also automatically collect technical data including IP address, device identifiers, push-notification tokens, app version, browser type, and usage data through cookies and similar technologies, to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our research and advisory services
  • To carry out KYC, identity verification, and agreement e-signing
  • To process subscription payments and issue invoices
  • To send research alerts, recommendations, service notifications, and account communications
  • To comply with SEBI regulations, KYC requirements, and legal obligations
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
  • To operate our in-app support assistant and respond to your queries
  • To analyse usage patterns and improve user experience

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the Services and to meet legal obligations, with:

  • Cashfree Payments: to process payments and to perform PAN verification and Aadhaar-based eSign.
  • Google: Firebase for authentication and push notifications, and Google’s Gemini AI to power our in-app support assistant — messages you send to the assistant are processed by Gemini to generate responses.
  • Meta (WhatsApp): to deliver account notifications and alerts to you via WhatsApp.
  • Regulatory authorities and KRAs: SEBI, stock exchanges, and KYC Registration Agencies, as required by law.

These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may process data only for the purposes described above.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations. SEBI regulations require us to maintain research and KYC records for a minimum of 5 years. We delete or anonymise data once these obligations are met.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, subject to the retention requirements above. To delete your account and associated data, use the in-app option or our Account & Data Deletion page. We will action verified requests within a reasonable period, retaining only what regulation requires.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for adults (18 years and older) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, tokenisation of sensitive payment data by our PCI-DSS compliant partner, access controls, and regular security reviews. No transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
